Lemon Sole is a right sided flatfish (ie eyes on right upper side) – It has a smooth upper with very small head and mouth. Brownish with darker blotches

Habitat
Lemon sole are bottom dweller. As with plaice, they like sand and gravel. They are more commonly found in deeper waters and are unlikely to travel up rivers.
Suggested Cooking Methods & Recipes
Lemon sole are very good to eat.
We recommend cooking them, like plaice on the bone under the grill. Spread a little butter on the and add a dash of lemon juice and some seasoning prior to cooking.
